My aching back!

The saga of the house purchase continues......however I am optimistic...so I am continuing to plan/decorate my future abode! My neighbor and bestest crafting pal, Julie is making a quilt and told me about it. Our Ward has 2 quilting classes held by some sisters in the Ward...now you know I couldn't be left out :) I bought some fabric (because there wasn't enough in my closet!) Is there such thing as too much or ever enough fabric?

My new place will have a beautiful vintage guest room!! Anyway so I am making a variation of the Turning 20 quilt. I got gorgeous turquoise, black & white, and yellow fabric.

My beloved husband was sleeping loudly last night so I stayed up and cut all the fabric out then with great ease (LOL NOT!) laid it out into an appealing pattern. I crawled around and sat hunched over for a good 5 hours...WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! HELLO!!

Needless to say I couldn't stand upright when I was finished nor this morning! Seriously something happened when I turned 40 (besides getting in a horrid car wreck on my bday!)...all of a sudden I'm like freaking crippled....ugh!

Anyway here are the pieces all laid out :) What do my non existent followers think?? Why Shauna, I think it's spectacularly amazing!! Thanks Shauna!

Just call me Supah Stah!

So Brett and I have been a long and arduous quest for a house! It has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least! We found a house and it was being bid on by 5 people....they accepted our offer....we had short deadlines....we needed an extension....they said NO.....lost house....we kept trying to get things in place and kept on squeaking the wheels...they gave us back our contract! With the extension!!!

Okay enter the Supah Stah...same day my realtor and fellow goofball Donster Z!!! He asked me to be on TV with him..they wanted to interview someone trying to get in under the deadline for the tax credit. So this evening we were on the Channel 4 10:00 news :) They interviewed us in the house we have a contract on! It was very fun.....newsflash though peeps...............the camera adds 30 lbs to the gluteous bohunkus maximus...seriously....I mean it was JUST the camera adding that right??? My butt really isn't that big?? Really? Please someone tell me it isn't so!!!!
